Golden Rule Law of Life
Character Award

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,
for what you do to others will bring good or bad consequences to your life.

What is it? This award is to recognize students who exhibit qualities of “The Golden Rule”: showing respect for others, restraint, patience, honesty, responsibility.  Remember, students who win this award will receive a certificate, t-shirt, gift certificate for $50, name engraved on plaque in guidance, AND $100 savings bond!! Also they will be eligible to be student of the year – and with that honor comes a $500 savings bond!

All FACULTY and STUDENTS can nominate! Nomination forms can be found in the media center near the Golden Rule Box

Alyssa Hosey
Alyssa effectively balances academics, sports, work, family, church, and community service all while living the "Golden  Rule" - treating others with respect, exhibiting self control, patience, and displaying honesty, kindness, compassion, generosity, and cooperation.

Jacqueline Van DeVelde
Jacqueline “is selfless, kind, gracious, genuine, and amazing. She always helps others!” She exemplifies the Golden Rule and lives by it daily .

Miguel Santiago
Miguel is always willing to help others, always polite, and always has a smile on his face. As one teacher said of this award, “It is as if it was created for Miguel to win.”
