The Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association (GIAHA) will present the work of Glynn County School System art teachers at the 6th Annual Glynn County Art Teachers Exhibit in the Ritz Theatre Gallery on Newcastle Street in downtown Brunswick, June 5 through August 1, 2009. The public is invited to join the artists, their students and other art lovers for an opening reception Friday, June 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
The show will include work in a range of media including oils, watercolors, pastels, photography and sculpture. Many of the pieces will also be for sale.
The gallery is open to the public Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Ritz, Brunswick’s historic theater and arts center, is located at 1530 Newcastle St., one block north of Gloucester Street.
